There are not many stores that could convince me to buy an item of clothing I could not really see, for a price I could not really afford (which I could not really see either!)… but Abercrombie & Fitch on the Champs Elysee in Paris managed to get it right.

Why?  After being literally led down the garden path through these impressive gates and front door, you enter a dark den, with loud music (which probably has subliminal hypnotherapy saying ‘buy me…buy me’) and the smell of the Abercrombie scent wafting through the air (probably laced with Rohypnol to allow the shop assistants who all look like models to take advantage of your credit card and lowered inhibitions).

Jokes aside, the store is absolutely beautiful, and can highly recommend for anybody ever in Paris!

  1. Wow, gorgeous, especially the staircases! From these pics, it really seems like the queue and sensory ambush were worth it – hope you are still enjoying the jacket! 🙂
