Can you recall that scene from ‘Devil Wears Prada’, where Miranda Priestly explains to Andrea that the colour of her sweater is not blue, but cerulean, which had been picked out for her by the people in that room?

Well on a rather less dramatic scale, what was said is true.  Every year you see specific colours coming through in decor items and accessories – shocking colours in the 80’s, pink and grey in the early nineties, the whole lime green, pink and orange from around mid 2005 – 2010 etc.

This year the colour of the year, as determined by Pantone for the first time is two colours: Roze Quarts and Serenity

I particularly am rather fond of the combo, and will definitely look out for ways to introduce it into client spaces this year.  Kind of like a date stamp for 2016!
