Today marks a very special day for me, in that it was exactly a year ago today that I left permanent employment to follow my dream as a designer. It has been a rollercoaster year with many lessons learnt and steep learning curves, but I would not change it for the world!
The house I would like to show you today really warms my heart as it belongs to one of my best friends. I take it as a compliment if a friend hires you, as they would be the most honest if you really did not know what you were doing… especially this friend!
The brief was simple: The cats destroyed our furniture, a lot was hand-me downs, make it work and make it our own 🙂
As can be seen in the before pics, everything was covered with a throw (thank you cats) and it was quite dark and full inside:

Especially proud of that gallery wall I installed myself. I will show you how in a coming post!
Even the one ginger cat Pumpky was having a blast…
